Full-Time Psychotherapist
(Weekend position available.)
Our psychotherapists counsel individuals and families regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, eating disorders or family situations and develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans in a medical setting by performing the following duties:
- Provide comprehensive and ongoing assessment resulting in appropriate treatment and discharge recommendations.
- Create an individualized treatment plan with specific and measurable goals. Must continually monitor progress and re-evaluate appropriateness of goals, resetting as appropriate.
- Facilitate groups with expertise, demonstrating ability to engage, set limits and monitor the group process.
- Complete clinical paperwork, progress notes, and group notes in a timely and accurate fashion.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in mental health field and must be either licensed, or in supervisory phase of licensure.
- Skilled in providing both individual and family therapy.
- Experience in a fast paced environment.
- 2 + years experience with eating disordered clients preferred.
- Trained in family based treatment a plus. Knowledge of DBT and CBT required.
- History of working with patients with complex medical and psychological challenges a plus.
- Training in Maudsley family based treatment approach is highly preferred.

Full-Time Registered Dietitian
The general responsibility of the Registered Dietitian is to provide nutrition counseling and services to the patients participating in programs at Summit. Specific duties include:
- onduct Initial Nutritional Assessments
- Provide nutritional counseling
- Facilitate Nutrition Groups and Grocery Outing activities
- Use nutrition care process to document session notes, case management activities, contact with PCP and other professionals
- Attend daily case staffing
- Supervise and participate in meals
- Attend weekly treatment team meetings on your individual clients
- Provide support to team regarding nutrition aspect of care for your clients
- Immediately inform individual clinician and PCP of any nutrition concerns
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and/or Nutrition and food science. Current registration with the Commission for Dietetic Registration required.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must possess a valid California Drivers License, clean driving record, insurance and reliable transportation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
